We filmed this video in order to practice the skill of matching up video footage with the corrosponding audio. This means that when we film and edit our music video, we will be able to accurately match up the movements of our artist's lips with the audio of the song. This is essential because all professional music videos have perfect syncronisation between the footage and the audio, meaning that if we want our music video to appear sophisticated and professional, we have to do the same. 

There are several things we can learn from filming this video. The most important being that the audio you use when filming has to be exactly the same as the audio in your finished video. After filming, we discovered that the audio track we used was faster than the audio we were adding in the edit. This meant that it became increasingly more difficult to match up the audio and the footage as we constantly had to alter the speed of the footage. When we film the performance for our music video, we will ensure that the audio tracks are the same so that we don't encounter this problem. 

In addition to this, we could also have included a greater shot variety to make the video more engaging to our audience. By only including mid shots of our singers, the video lacks energy and pace, making it boring for our audience as it fails to convey the upbeat nature of the song. When we film the performance shots for our music video, we will film from a variety of different angles and use different shot types to properly capture the emotion behind the song. 

Overall, filming this video has been a valuable experience because it has highlighted areas of our technique that require improvement which means that we can develop these skills and avoid the same issues when filming our music video.
